How the program works

The Mentoring Partnership is a collaboration of corporate and community partners, and operates as a program of TRIEC. The Mentoring Partnership manages the program and supports the efforts of corporate partners and community partner organizations to develop effective mentoring relationships.

12 community partners deliver the program across the Greater Toronto Area. They screen and recruit mentees into the program, match mentors and mentees, conduct orientation sessions, support the mentoring relationship and track outcomes. Community partners also support the recruitment of individual mentors to the program. Recent skilled immigrants interested in joining the program as mentees are encouraged to visit any one of the partners.

Corporate partners support the program by engaging identified employee groups to become mentors, marketing The Mentoring Partnership internally to employees, and hosting orientation events for their mentors.
